The sleepy lull of eve was upon the traveling male; hardened feet once tender now craved for the peace of mind that was his own land. Away for days had he been from Founders Grove, off doing matters he probably had no business doing in the first place. Of course, he supposed it was alright if the Queen herself didn’t see any faults in it, and it seemed she certainly hadn’t. He couldn’t manage to get his thoughts off of her since they’d formed an agreement of sorts. There had been no solid answer, merely hours of close contact sealed in both of them muttering that fabled four-letter-word. Personally, he hadn’t expected her to say it, not only had she said it, the lovable oaf that was he had gotten her to say the phrase twice. Had the manipulator become manipulated? No, no, well… Maybe… But she liked it. Perhaps she’d never admit it to him, or herself fully, but those amber eyes of his missed nothing from her expressions. She was far too alluring to look away from anyway, and what made it even more satisfying was the fact she knew it to be true. "Hum, better get to it."

After walking a’many miles to plant his feet this close to home, there were parts of him that didn’t want to think this was a required stop. He wanted to push forward, keep going until he could finally throw his body onto the pelts he’d collected in his den, but there was something so enticing about snagging something he hadn’t yet obtained: those pretty coats that bounded by, likely thinking they were unscented by his sensitivity. He’d caught them frolicking behind him, their furs of ruddy brown and some of them, greyish black, frankly, he was beginning to feel a bit peckish anyway. Kill two birds with one stone, was it? He let a soft smirk coat his fine lips, hunkering down behind a grassy knoll to watch them emerge from their shallow dens. Although he’d seen a few now, there was one he had in mind for himself he hadn’t seen just yet. "Good things come to those who wait, I suppose it’s something I’ll just have to do." The accented man got comfortable, eyes slowly scanning for the silver fox he oh-so desired. @Arcana

Maeve didn’t know what to do with her pretty self, all she knew was she didn’t like being alone. It was terribly boring. It was funny how annoying people still needed someone to annoy, wasn’t it? She’d spent hours looking for a person to pester. That’s a matter of factly what she was doing when she walked right up to the handsome male. What was he doing out here anyway? It looked like he was bumming the day away, but her sapphire eyes lingered out into the land to spot what he was after. What a shame he’d now be hunting for two. "Oh, not the vixen you were expecting, am I?" She laughed teasingly and attempted to place her slender steps right in front of his face, craning her neck down to stick out her tongue and give a quick wink.

This doofus looked like he’d give a moose a run for its money and it was everything she was living for right now. She was living for herself too, she loved herself more than anything on the face of the planet, but that was neither here or there. "Can’t be all bad, maybe I can help? A fox for a fox?" It was a weak maybe, she was hungry and she bet her life he was a better hunter than her, with his huge muscles and all. The sly woman attempted to brush against him, giggly gently, hopin for a feel of those biceps. "Mama grew you right, didn't she?" Looked stupid enough to trick, everyone knew the bigger they were the lighter their head. @Odin

Foxes !

Silver Fox HP: 40 | Red Fox HP: 40

It didn't take long for those fluffy tails to appear in the foreground; bouncing along in play without a care in the world. One a lovely ginger shade resembling a lovely roasted chestnut, the other an elegant hue of midnight and ash. It was hard to tell if these two foxes were a pair or simply family, but they were unaware of the eyes watching until a feminine voice broke the silence. Alerted by @Maeve, the two smaller canines took off in attempts to hide, only to run directly into @Odin who was hiding behind the grassy knoll. The red fox let out a weak snarl, attempting to make itself bigger as the silver fox aimed to nip at @Maeve.

The alluring fragrance of the flower-laced madam hit him before her... Less than alluring appearance. Well, no, he wouldn't say she wasn't beautiful -- as he'd never seen such a fault in any woman he'd laid his gaze on -- but her voice, her snarky enthusiasm. It peeved him. The way she waltzed around his resting body in a ditzy manner as if a giddy child, her jaws flapping words aimlessly as they fell upon his deaf ears. He’d admit, it was slightly amusing how she believed herself to have him suddenly hooked on her looks, as he was a man who enjoyed a confident woman, but this wasn’t confidence. He brought his amber eyes to meet her, a smirk painting along his black lips as she brushed along his side. He didn’t react, not wanting to feed into her silly game, but when her maw parted for the second time he brought his massive figure skyward.

Odin glared down at the smaller she-wolf, her size reminding him of Anaru. She did appear to be a tad thicker, but that had never been something to bother the brute, some might say he even liked it that way. Unlucky for her though, there was nothing but distaste in his agitated eyes. "No helping required, but it would be pleasant if you left. You seem more trouble than you're worth." Rumbling onward, he watched as the loud woman alerted his prey, a snarl of annoyance flaring in his throat as he aimed to snap at her, attempting to push her out of the way to get to the pelts that were now bounding off. "Move, stand back!" The male growled, running after the silver fox as it was on his priority list. He reached out, aiming to lock his muzzle around its tail as it ran and then sling it back to where the other was. @Arcana @Maeve

Attack 1 - On Maeve. Push her out of the way.
Attack 2 - On silver fox. Bite onto its tail.
Attack 3 - On silver fox. Sling it in the air.

Maeve squealed at the little rodent that nipped her at her ankles, jumping back in pity for the pain and looking at Odin for a moment to help before he decided to be a dirty dog and knock her to the ground. The she-devil enjoyed this rough movement, it hurt her but the grin on her face begged for more contact. Awhile before Maeve thought Odin didn’t want to give her any attention, but he was failing by speaking and feeling her. Maeve wouldn’t say anything to him about it yet because any attention was positive attention in her enchanting blue eyes. "No need to be so rough on a lady, didn’t your mother teach you manners? I’m sure if you had a special lady in your life they wouldn’t like that!”

Her mouth caught itself and her eyes watched the dead body of the fox fly across the sky. She didn’t hear it scream so it told her the man had killed it quickly with swiftness. Maybe he wasn’t such an idiot, maybe she was being too naive about it. "Do you treat everything you kill like that? It would be interesting to watch you work all the time. What is your work?" She had heard a bit about wolves from the order, he looked like he might fit in with that crowd. It wasn’t a thing she wanted to do, but if he was there, it may not be all too horrible. @Odin

Foxes !

Silver Fox HP: 0 | Red Fox HP: 40

Although the two foxes ran, a fatal error was made by the silver fox, yelping for the help of its mate as @Odin slung him around until his body felt like jello. As if it couldn't get any worse, the blue brute threw the silver fox several feet into the air, and as his body came crashing down he let out a final scream and fell silent. The red vixen took off in the opposite direction, looking desperately for anywhere to hide from the two wolves that roamed outside.

“My mum is dead.” A voice of shivering stone dripped from each corner of his ebony lips, four short words laced in a venom so fine that even a black mamba might be envious. There hadn’t been much talk of his mother recently, or ever, truly. The brute simply wasn’t the type to bring up the past, let alone the one of his own heritage. His history didn’t concern her. Not his father, his brothers, his sister, but it certainly hadn’t silenced her, oh no, she kept yapping those filthy jowls. There was a part of him that wondered exactly why her damned muzzle kept letting thoughts of his mom slither out between her teeth. Did she know something he didn’t? His eyes turned to her momentarily, a chuckle rumbling deep within his chest. Of course, she didn’t. The molly that acted as though she controlled it all knew nothing; if anything her display had told him more than what she would probably say to him for the rest of his life.

“As for my woman, heh,” He grunted, muscular shoulders rippling with flex with every slam of those massive feet. The burly man leaned down slowly, peeling jaws apart to violently thrash the limp fox to ensure it deceased, and after his confirmation, only then was he satisfied. Tossing it upon his hind, he turned, making his way back over to the insolent bitch to growl a few mutters into her folded ear: “Keep her entire existence off of your fucking tongue or I’ll have it hung above your den as a reminder.” Watching the red fox dart for its life, Odin took one last look at Maeve before making the decision the go catch it too. “And for your information, if there isn’t a little blood between us by the time we’re done, why even do it in the first place?” With that, Odin took off, once again aiming to bite onto the fox but this time by its back leg. He would attempt to shake it around, then once more at its throat.  @Arcana @Maeve

Attack 1 - Attempting to bite onto the back leg of the fox.
Attack 2 - Attempting to thrash it around by its leg.
Attack 3 - Attempting to thrash it around by its throat.
